The fair-headed one had a very full social calendar this week. A slumber party with her Girl Scout troop on Tuesday, a field trip to a Phoenix Mercury game on Wednesday, and dinner out with the family and former teachers on Thursday. Friday was a whole day at a friend's that ran directly into a pool & slumber birthday party topped off with a full day at Wet and Wild water slide park on Saturday.
Following all of this the parental units decided a lazy day at home with the family was just what everyone needed. We filled the day with swimming, reading, puzzles, a game of Clue, and baking cookies.
I'm very relieved to report that not a single person died of boredom.
